If you are aged 14-16 and home-educated, coming to college is a great way to enhance your studies, meet new people and achieve those all important qualifications. We have a dedicated team to support you through your learning journey. All courses are free of charge and delivered on-site in college.

We also offer school students, who are in years 10 or 11, the opportunity to study more vocational subjects that their school may not offer.

Options for Schools

The 14 – 16 and Schools Team has a long and successful history of working in partnership with local secondary and SEND schools and academies to provide bespoke, discrete courses as well as infill opportunities onto our Post-16 courses for individual Year 11 students.

Home Educated Students

Home educated students can now access on-site college courses free of charge to enhance their home education.

Nottingham College has been leading the way locally and nationally in creating programmes of study specifically for this group of young people. The 14 – 16 and Schools Team support these students on their learning journey from application, enrolment and through to the successful completion of their course.
