It is ideal for anyone wanting to add Dermaplaning facial treatment to their current treatment options.

You will learn:

  • Communication and consultation techniques
  • Contra-indications to dermaplaning
  • Health, safety and hygiene
  • Brow preparation and measurement of brows
  • Completing a dermaplaning service
  • Homecare and aftercare

You can expect a dedicated team of lecturers who still work in the industry, so have up to date skills and experience.

This course will be a hands-on learning experience to ensure you get a solid grounding in the main application of a dermaplaning treatment, using high quality products. Practical skills will be assessed when carrying out a full dermaplaning treatment on a model and completion of an end of unit test which will be graded pass or refer.

You must have:

  • A facial qualification
  • Good communication skills
  • A keen interest in subject area
  • Good dexterity (hand/ eye coordination)
  • An informal chat with a tutor
  • Completion of a full dermaplaning treatment
  • Multiple choice end of unit test

Other short courses such as Definition Brows or Brow Lamination.

You may be asked to provide your own model.

Please ensure that you are wearing all black e.g. black trousers or leggings and plain black t-shirt or tunic.
