Course Introduction
A T Level is a nationally-recognised qualification that gives you a new choice to consider after GCSEs and are an alternative to A levels, apprenticeships and other 16 to 19 courses and includes a minimum of 351 hours working with an employer on an industry placement.
During the 2-year programme, you will learn the core knowledge and skills that are needed for entry to a range of business occupations. This course is suitable for anyone wanting a career in business management or business administration.
Modules include:
- The different types of organisations (e.g. private, public and not-for-profit)
- The impact of organisations on society and the environment
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
- Business models and structures
- Operations and functions (e.g. finance, human resources)
In addition to the core content, you will study the following specialism:
- Team Leadership/Management
This course will be taught at our City Hub Campus where you will have access to fantastic facilities and state-of-the-art virtual learning technologies and equipment.
Course Information
T Level Technical Qualification in Business
You need a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including English and Maths at grade 5.
This course is for students aged 16-18 only.
You will complete a range of externally-assessed projects including role plays, written exams and employer-set projects alongside completing 315 hours of relevant industry experience.
You can progress into employment, an apprenticeship or further study.
