Multiply is a government incentive which offers free numeracy courses for adults aged 19 and over. The courses are designed to help you improve in a range of math skills, to build your confidence and help you progress onto a maths qualification if desired.

The aim of these courses is to help employed individuals without a Maths GCSE (Grade C or equivalent) become more confident with numbers in everyday life and work. Multiply is designed for the individual and courses have been developed covering specific topics to make maths engaging and fun.

Nottingham College is offering new and innovative delivery methods that are far from the traditional classroom set up. We aim to tailor our sessions to your Maths needs focussing on everyday topics and incorporating virtual reality to bring the lessons to life!

  • Financial Planning for the Self Employed

We offer a variety of levels from beginner to more advanced courses and workshops. Learners have the option to partake in non-accredited workshops or courses and/​or accredited courses such as functional skills qualifications.

Eligibility

To be able to access the Multiply course learners must be:

  • Aged 19 or over.
  • Work for a Nottingham City Employer.
  • Not already have a GCSE at grade 4/C equivalent in Maths.

Employers

If you are an employer and interested in offering free math courses to up skill your workforce, we are able to offer bespoke sessions tailored to your business needs.

The course sessions are designed to incorporate a flexible model, either face to face or online and delivered during working hours.

Incorporating fun and innovative delivery methods such as virtual reality and digital technologies. We can offer non-accredited courses between 6 – 20 guided learning hours to meet your specified requirements and/​or a progression onto accredited functional skills qualifications between 20 – 45 guided learning hours

Initial assessments are undertaken at enrolment to ensure all courses are delivered to your employees required level of learning.
