Course Introduction

The BA (Hons) degree in Digital Graphics for Games Production provides an ideal opportunity to explore the technical skills and software associated with graphic design, animation and games production.

You'll also explore how these subjects and associated skills are converging in industries at the cutting edge of global collaborative technologies.

About the course

Over 3 years you'll explore design concepts and practice through units in graphic design, games development and design and animation. Alongside, you will study how 3D, UI/UX and mobile apps production are impacting on design. At the end of each year there's the opportunity to produce a project in your own chosen subject area.

Additionally, you will be taught how to manage your own business in an industry which is becoming increasingly reliant on freelancing. You will also study digital marketing and how this rapidly-developing field can help build your own business as well as how you could work in an organisation producing relevant content.

The BA (Hons) in Digital Graphics for Games Production is taught at our ultra-modern City Hub campus providing access to professional equipment, studio spaces and Adobe Creative Suite along with other relevant software.
